Pancake Supper and Mardi Gras with Ascension Lutheran Church

Littles of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area visited Ascension Lutheran Church for their annual Pancake Supper and Mardi Gras celebration. They feasted on blueberry pancakes, sausage, bacon, and eggs. Saturday, February 22, six Littles from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area attended the 1 Dream One Team Gala at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area were guests of Delegate Danny Marshall at the 2020 Session of the VA House of Delegates. Delegate Marshall met with the youth in his office building to explain the legislative process. Zinc Total Hair Salon sponsored an Angel Tree for 70 children and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area participants to have a Merry Christmas. Each child got at least a shirt, pair of pants, shoes, and a special gift. Zinc’s customers generously gave to each child they had a name for. Each gift made the season merry and bright.
