Big Brothers Big Sisters has partnered with law enforcement to create the Bigs with Badges program. Our Bigs with Badges program creates mentor relationships to connect police officers or firefighters with Littles. Bigs and Littles meet for one hour per week in a school or community setting. Some Bigs and Littles play basketball, read a book, or do homework.
Unfortunately, youth today need to see officers portrayed in a positive light. As Bigs with Badges, officers show that they’re involved and that they care about what’s happening in the community.
