On, Monday, February, 29, 2016 eight boys of Big Brothers Big Sisters attended a workshop entitled, “How to Tie a Tie”. This event was held at the United Way’s Large Conference Room. The instructor was Philip Haley, President of The United Way of Danville/ Pittsylvania Co. Not only did Mr. Haley teach two methods of tying a tie, he also advised them of what type of shirt to wear, and what kind of occasion in which one should wear a tie. The ties were donated by the late Judge Stuart and Eleanor Craig. Following was a Sunday Dinner provided by Western Sizzlin’ Steak House.
