On Tuesday, October 25th 9 youth of Big Brothers Big Sisters traveled to Owen Farm. The visit began with a barnyard dinner and hayride. On the hayride they viewed everything from chickens, hogs, llamas, goats, and peacocks, to bulls and Texas longhorn cattle. They continued the hayride over the river and through the woods. Afterwards, they were able to ride through the Pumpkin Patch where they picked out their very own pumpkin. At the end, the youth went to the Corn Maze. This adventure was sponsored by the Men’s Division of Cherrystone Missionary Baptist Association. For more information about this agency, call Pat Daniel (434)792-3700 ext. 237.
