Littles and Parents Attend Mini-Conference

On Saturday, July 25th Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area held a Mini-Conference at Calvary Baptist Church 218 Holbrook St., Danville VA. The Mini-Conference was titled, “What’s Next For Me?” There were two speakers. Ms. Rena DeAndrea, of the Transitions Pregnancy Solutions  and Mr. Kelvin Perry, President of First State Bank and Board Chairperson of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area; She spoke about teen pregnancy prevention and steps to take following teen pregnancy. He spoke about the importance of saving and managing money.  Littles and parents were in attendance. The Community Foundation sponsored this event.
