Curtis Carrington has been associated with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area’s program for over five years. He has been a school based mentor as well as a community based volunteer. He focuses on assisting the youth with improving self- esteem and confidence. He stated “I will go wherever the agency needs me.” He has been a devoted volunteer and enjoys working with a young male who was in need of a mentor. Mr. Carrington’s previous match was a long term relationship, ending when youth moved to Franklin County. The youth’s parent stated “This was the best thing that ever happened to her son.”
