Littles Build Bird Houses

The Ascension Lutheran Church Men’s Fellowship assisted our male littles with building bird houses on May 17th. The youth learned how to use hammers, nails, and drills to complete each project. Lights On in My Home

On Wednesday, April 18th Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area joined together with The Ascension Lutheran Church Men’s Fellowship for an event entitled, “Lights On in My Home” . On Tuesday, April 17th,  Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area joined with The Averett University Men’s Basketball team for the “Bigs: Safety Training”. On Monday, April 9th Big Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area in conjunction with members of the Jr. Wednesday Club came together for “Yoga Night”. BBBS Presented With Donation

The Westmoreland Neighborhood Churches held ecumenical Lenten Services from February 14th 2018 – March 29th 2018. The services included Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday services. Day of Happiness

On Tuesday, March 20th Ben David Jewelers hosted “A Day of Happiness” at their location of Danville, VA. Our “littles” were able to describe what happiness means to them on paper that was displayed on a wall for the public to view.  They were also given the opportunity to try on Rolex watches and given special gifts.
