Sheriff Mike Mondul is a dedicated Big Brother. He and his little have been matched for almost three years. He acts as a mentor, guidance counselor, coach, and community advocate. Mike teaches the youth to exercise and have healthy eating habits. In addition, the little is being taught to be a community advocate as well.
Every time you see the little, ZyQuan, he is well mannered and well groomed. His Big even goes with him to get haircuts. The last time we have seen the two together was at a Domestic Violence Banquet where they both shown their biggest smiles and shared many laughs. The youth often makes appearances with his Big at the City of Danville functions. The Big and little have become a part of each other’s lives and families. Most importantly, they have become friends.
