During the month of June, volunteers across the country will participate in the sixth annual United Way Day of Action. Day of Action is hosted on a single day throughout communities in an effort to recognize the passion, expertise and resources committed people bring every day to build a better life for all.
On this year’s Day of Action, United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County, in partnership with God’s Storehouse, Three Angels Seven Day Adventist Church, and Riverview Rotary, will package 50,000 meals for individuals and families in Danville-Pittsylvania County. We need help from volunteers to assemble and package the meals.

Each group should identify ONE Team Captain. Prior to the event, each team captain will participate in Pre-Packaging 101. This will enable each team to work efficiently at each packaging station. Once registered, each Team Captain will receive an email with details to specific training time and location.
