September 13-14, the 7 youth and chaperones from Big Brothers Big Sisters attended the Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference. The conference included the Youth Café which is designed for youth ages 13-18. Classes included youth engagement and how to get college scholarships. Every morning, there were speakers at breakfast. There was a black-tie gala that included dinner, a comedian, and a dance. The next morning, they visited Center on the Square to visit the aquarium, play arcade games, and feast on candy and popcorn.
